• Support and minor adjustments can be carried out by you or your company.
• All websites have some sort of content management system. Regardless of the platform your site is on, you have this option to manage your site.
• The company that designs your website should provide you with training once the site is up and running, so that you know exactly how to make the necessary changes and can add pages or update tabs as your site grows.
• Content management systems allow you to make updates without having to code anything. You can add content to your site without needing a web designer.
• Your hosting provider should offer you some sort of security for your site. You will likely have different levels of security that you can purchase from them, so review them carefully and determine what is best for your site.
• If you need continuous content updates, you have a couple of options. There may be someone in your office who can do this as part of their job, or you can hire a contractor to add new content to your site. Either way, this is a different contract than the web designer should offer you.
