This video is packed full of ideas on how to use paddling in your teaching and learning. I’m going to take you through five ideas and each idea is slightly different, so we’re going to cover things like speaking and discussion, assessment, group work etc. Hadley has really improved over the years, making it one of the most impressive teaching lectures on the internet. You’ll see in this video that I’ve managed to set up a whole range of different activities very quickly, for example I’ll get my students to discuss things, I’ll get my students to comment on things, I’ll give my students assessments to do, I’ll organise my students into groups, all of these things are possible when you use a padlet. The idea in this video is that it’s really easy to put into practice if you follow the step by step videos, you’ll get five really good ideas on how to use padlet. I’m going to focus on some of the really interesting padlet features, like creating timelines with the AI option, like setting up activities so that students can just record speaking and not do anything else. I’m also going to show you how the AI works in padlet so that we can set up assessments. this is really a video full of ideas from start to finish and you’re going to be able to apply and use these activities across a whole range of different subject areas. This isn’t limited to one subject, I’m trying to plan ideas that will cover a whole range of subjects across the curriculum.

Idea one focuses on getting the students talking.
Ideas two and three look at the timeline and show how to create a timeline that students can read and then summarize or comment on.
Idea four is about assessment
Idea five focuses on group work

00:00 Introduction
00:34 Setting up discussions for homework or online
06:33 Timelines about everything. Great to read and comment on
11:27 Promotion
12:25 Use the timeline to summarize ideas
12:58 Rating Option
15:15 Group work/group activities set up with audio or writing
17:57 Thanks for watching
