A day in the life of a QA tester

As a QA tester, I am responsible for creating tests and identifying bugs or problems with the software. I perform testing before the software or product is actually launched to the public owner. The duties of a QA tester or quality assurance tester involve the use of different methodologies, for example agile methodology. What is agile methodology?

Well, it is the ability to split the application into smaller parts known as agile sprints. These are typically two-week intervals, allowing developers and the QA tester to focus on these segments using something like a Kanban board. These are then all added together to form what is known as the software or product.

A day in the life of a tester can therefore vary from manual testing to automated testing or be filled with meetings. Let's see…
