Outer cables on robots suffer from wear and can lead to downtime. To address this issue, Volvo, in close cooperation with ABB, has equipped their spot welding robots with integrated dresspacks. The solution improves the life cycles of cables and hoses, reduces production costs and downtime, and provides shorter start-up times.
