In this Android Mobile Accessibility video, you'll learn web accessibility development techniques for Android mobile devices and understand the basic APIs for native accessibility.

We'll look at a variety of mobile web accessibility topics, such as:
-An introduction to basic assistive technology
-Identifying fundamental accessibility issues in a native app
-Gain perspective on basic APIs for native accessibility
-Understanding accessibility testing in an Agile development team
-Learning advanced accessibility APIs

There will also be plenty of time for Q&A with our presenter, Chris McMeeking.

Chris has over five years of experience in mobile application development and has worked with the Android Open Source Project. Chris has been working in accessibility since he was a sophomore in college, where he started a project to create a keyboard for children with cerebral palsy. Chris is currently part of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) working group that defines international standards for accessibility.
