When you fill out your app information, you will notice that there is a field, unique to iOS apps, called “Keywords”. Unlike Google Play Store, the Apple App Store gives you a specific field where you can enter keywords.

Keywords play an important role in App Store Optimization. They determine how your app is found in the app stores and determine your ranking in search results. The Keyword field tells Apple's search algorithm what your app is about and in which app store searches your app should be listed.
