Earlier this week, ACX sent an email to authors who were using the platform to self-publish their audiobooks on Audible. They stated that prices for audiobooks on the Audible platform will drop. This is good for consumers, audiobooks are cheaper and the theory is that they would buy more audiobooks because of a more competitive price. However, any sales of audiobooks for us authors will result in a lower royalty.
