Presentation:

Modern vehicles are home to dozens of electronic control units (ECUs), each managing a different subsystem of the vehicle. With vehicle control distributed across so many machines, sharing information in a robust, timely manner becomes a necessity. In-Vehicle Networks have been developed to meet these communications needs, bringing functionality optimized for the automotive environment to the industry. In this CHV101 talk we explore the different In-Vehicle Network technologies used in vehicles today, and each of their strengths and applications.
