• PLUS! "Phantom-Phantom" markings…
1st to see real Phantom Marks: Activate the Composer window and then enable the Phantoms from the Composer drop-down menu at the top or right-click in the Composer source/record window. These blue phantom marks are intended to help visualize or calculate a /"fourth edit point./" The marks are displayed as blue ghost points based on the edit situation and the source and record edit duration. (Appears only in the Composer window.)

But even with Phantoms Off, a similar function already exists in the QW keys. (Also standard /"Go to In/"__/"Go to Out/" marks.) Consider a three-dot edit in this example, where only an In is marked in the source clip, while the record has both an In and an Out. marked, plus a duration. Press W or "Go to Out" on the source and that goes to the non-existent Out sign. (assuming your source clip with the real In point is long enough…) Additionally, using the 6 key on the Source clip will limit the In-to-Out looping (even though the Source doesn't have an Out! ) based on recording time.
