I am sharing my 4 days and 3 nights itinerary in Bangkok. To be honest, I spent a bit much on transportation. You can even save on transportation if you use their train stations, but since it was more convenient for us to ride a tuk tuk or grab, we chose them because we can take a tuk tuk/grab anywhere in Bangkok.

As for the tuk tuk, we really didn't know what the going rate is in the tuk tuk, but every time we ride a tuk tuk no matter the distance, we were asked to pay 300 Thai Baht and I just keep negotiating until they change the rate lower it, but we can only lower it from 170-250 baht. I'm not sure, but I think they have a different fee for tourists. Anyway, we enjoyed riding a tuk tuk. But we only drove a tuk tuk at night, so it won't be very hot. And we took a grab or a taxi during the day. With grab there are also times when they cancel our booking due to traffic or too far from our pick up point; that's why we took a taxi or tuk tuk and paid a little more compared to taking.

You can spend a lot less than what I spent in Bangok if you don't tour and just enjoy the city. But for me, I really went there to experience more of Bangkok; that's why I booked some tours before our trip to Bangkok. 🙂
