Communication is constantly changing. And especially internal communication within companies is changing at a very fundamental level and at a very rapid pace. One factor responsible for this is the fact that the tools we use are also fundamentally changing. Much of our communication is switching from email to instant messaging platforms. And the core of these platforms (also in our company) is Slack.

This video is intended as an overview and deep dive into Slack. I want to give you the best tips and hacks we've collected at Blackboat since we introduced the tool just over four years ago.

We believe that Slack has done wonders in opening up communication within our team, allowing us to be more transparent about our individual and client projects and reach out to the entire team on more personal or emotional topics. But for us it's not just about the tool, but also about how the people behind the tool use it.

So we hope this video will give you some insight into Slack as a communication tool.
