My trusty LG tablet started giving me some trouble charging, so it was time to replace. I went with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. This is a step-by-step video on how to download and install the BobT maps on an Android tablet. Your tablet must have built-in GPS. I install with Orux Maps, but if you use the Back Country Navigator app, follow the same basic instructions. This video shows downloading the West Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky Outlaw Trails and Hatfield McCoy trail systems, but there are other systems to choose from in the BobT Maps.
