Maximize my investments and build an emergency fund! | YouTube shorts

Hello there, fellow investors! In this short video, I share my investment strategy and how I plan to build my emergency fund. Stick around to learn some smart money moves!

First, let's talk about my $100 investment. I decided to divide it evenly into $50 each. With one half I buy a VDY share, which stands for Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF. This investment will help me diversify my portfolio and earn some passive income.

What am I going to do with the remaining $50? Well, I have big plans for it! I want to strengthen my emergency fund, especially after a year of rising expenses and unexpected costs. With this amount, I will gradually add $50 per week to my cash reserves.

But wait, there's more! I also want to invest in the long-term growth potential of the stock market. That's why I'm going to use some of my money to buy fractional shares of VFV, the Vanguard S&P 500 index ETF. By using dollar-cost averaging in this investment, I want to benefit from the overall growth of the stock market over time.

To summarize, I'm splitting my $100 into two parts: I'm investing $50 in VDY for dividend income and buying fractional shares of VFV to take advantage of the market's growth. The remaining $50 will be spent on gradually strengthening my emergency fund.
