I've been tracking my calories for years, so here are some calorie tracking tips PART 2

1️⃣ Reserve protein
– I always make sure I have cooked or uncooked egg whites as a backup
– Marinated or natural
– Super handy if you need extra protein to reach your protein goals
– Really helps reduce the chance of wasting your calories and cheating

2️⃣ Meal preparation
– One of the biggest reasons people don't hit their calories that day is because they aren't prepared
– Preparing at least half of your meals is more than enough, so you can cook something else when you get home, for example
– Helps plan your day and get your calories and macros in a better position
– Saves you money in the long run
– Teaches you how to cook
– Gives you backup meals

3️⃣ Food scanner
– Most food apps have this feature
– Scans the barcode to give you nutritional information about food
– Save time
– Make sure to double check the food you scanned and make sure it matches the nutrition label as sometimes it will be incorrect
