Are you considering increasing short-term rental costs? But not sure if it's worth it? In these #shorts I share some pros and cons of renting and charging on Airbnb, Booking.com and HomeAway.

Of these three platforms, Airbnb is my favorite. Booking.com is a good option, but people go here to find hotels. You can still list your short-term rental there if you think your property has a chance of competing with a hotel.

HomeAway is the opposite of Booking.com. People are looking for entire homes, and in my experience they are willing to pay a little more than on the other platforms.

That said, Airbnb is still THE place to start listing and hosting your home. They get both types of guests (you can tailor your listing accordingly) AND they get a lot more visitors.

But depending on the type of property you have, you can decide which platform to use next for greater exposure!
