DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitor the network to ensure network availability for all system users and perform any necessary maintenance to support network availability. Can monitor and test website performance to ensure websites work correctly and without interruptions. Can assist with network modeling, analysis, planning and coordination between hardware and software for network and data communications. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. Can manage network security measures.
