In today's video I discuss how to get the most out of the citizens, specialists, buildings and cities in your empire using some more intermediate and advanced civ 5 tactics. This tutorial discusses and/or answers the following:

How to grow faster in civ
How to enable resource yield icons in civ 5
How to make your cities work on certain tiles in Civilization 5
How to increase food production, gold yield and science generation in civ 5
How to best manage cities and tiles in civilization

I'll teach you the basics of city management from the perspective of efficiencies, increasing growth, encouraging a food and science focus, and how to properly manage specialists in Civ 5. I may come back in a later video on specialists if necessary, as they are slightly more complicated than standard tile management. And #civ5 #tutorial #onemoreturn because why not!

Welcome to my official Sid Meier's Civilization V (Civ 5) YouTube tutorial series! Founded in 2016 and revived in 2021! Civ 5 is perhaps one of the best 4x strategy games of all time. This series covers civ v tips and tricks for beginners as I guide you through how to settle a city, what cultural policies to choose, how to develop technology quickly, how to take cities, win wars, your country defend, negotiate peace, take to the sea and much more!

About the game:
Sid Meier's Civilization V is a 4X video game in the Civilization series developed by Firaxis Games. The game was released in September 2010 for Microsoft Windows, on November 23, 2010 for OS

In Civilization V, the player leads a civilization from prehistory into the future across a procedurally generated map, attempting to achieve one of a number of different victory conditions through exploration, exploration, diplomacy, expansion, economic development, government, and military conquest. The game is based on an all-new game engine with hexagonal tiles instead of the square tiles of previous games in the series. Many elements from Civilization IV and its expansion packs were removed or changed, such as religion and espionage (although these were reintroduced in subsequent expansions). The combat system has been revamped, removing the stacking of military units and allowing cities to defend themselves by firing directly at nearby enemies.[6] Additionally, the maps feature computer-controlled city-states and non-player characters available for trade, diplomacy, and conquest. A civilization's borders also expand tile by tile, favoring more productive tiles,[7] and roads now have maintenance costs, making them much less common.[8] The game includes community, modding and multiplayer elements. It is available for download on Steam.

The first expansion pack, Civilization V: Gods & Kings, was released on June 19, 2012 in North America and on June 22 internationally. It includes features such as religion, espionage, improved naval combat and combat AI, as well as nine new civilizations.

A second expansion pack, Civilization V: Brave New World, was announced on March 15, 2013. It includes features such as international trade routes, a world congress, tourism, major works, as well as nine new civilizations, eight additional wonders, and three ideologies. It was released on July 9, 2013 in North America and three days later in the rest of the world.
