Create an editable PDF letterhead and lock it – from Illustrator to Acrobat Pro in 5 minutes.

This tutorial shows you how to create a PDF that anyone can edit with Adobe Acrobat Pro. I design stationery for my clients in Illustrator that gets printed, but sometimes they also want a digital version that they can edit in Acrobat and send to their own clients. In this tutorial we will:

1. Create a /"dummy/" letter using Lorem Ipsum text in Illustrator.
2. Save it as a PDF and open it in Adobe Acrobat.
3. Use the tools and editing panels to make changes to the letter.
4. Restrict editing using the Protection and Security panels so that people can't make changes to your PDF if you don't want them to.

Note: All editing tools in Acrobat Pro are not available in Adobe Reader.
