RuPay credit cards can now be linked to a UPI ID, enabling secure payment transactions instantly. Credit Cards on UPI provide customers with a seamless, digitally enabled credit card lifecycle experience.

Customers will benefit from the convenience and increased options of using their credit cards. Merchants will benefit from the increase in consumption by becoming part of the credit ecosystem with credit card acceptance using asset lite QR codes.

There will be no charges for using RuPay credit cards on Unified Payments Interface (UPI) for transactions up to Rs 2,000, as per the RBI directive.
