Which cruise line excursions should you take and which should you not? I suggest six excursions that I would normally take with the cruise line, rather than with an independent tour company or self-guided tour. I also recommend that you 6 consider not doing this with the cruise line, and how you can do this yourself. The big advantage of an excursion with a cruise line is that the ship always waits for all tours to return before leaving. They do not guarantee that they will wait for late passengers at their own appointments. However, keep in mind my list of dos and don'ts when planning excursions during your cruise vacation.
