Today, human behavior poses the greatest threat to humanity. We keep eating too much, even though we know it's bad for us. We continue to use too much energy, even though we know the planet cannot keep up with our consumption. We keep driving too fast, even though we know it will kill us. But this does not mean that we have no intentions to change. We do. But changing actual human behavior requires good design solutions that take into account basic human instincts, shortcomings and habits. That's design for pushing.

Sille Krukow is a behavioral designer and senior advisor at Stupid Studio, member of iNudgeyou and affiliated with The Wales Center for Behavior Change & The Danish Nudging Network. She works with developing nudges and design to change behavior.
Sille holds a Masters in Visual Communication Design from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Design and Conservation and works to refine and develop design approaches and methodologies to use different areas of design to create efficient choice and behavioral choices . architecture. She creates solutions for public institutions and private companies, and teaches design to change behavior to students and design professionals.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine in-depth discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are called TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidelines for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
