Hi! I'm Bear, a product designer, design mentor, and award-winning Apple podcast host.

I am a self-taught designer with a scientific background who has been helping large enterprises, startups and clients in China, the US and New Zealand with digital products for over 16 years. Between my work hours and family time, I read, draw, podcast, and make videos about technology, design, and productivity.

My trip

After working as a graphic and multimedia designer for over 10 years, I moved to a new country without any local work experience, let alone experience in UX. This was a challenging but stimulating move, right? I taught myself UX in 6 months and got my first UX job at New Zealand's best fitness company. Now I'm a product designer at one of the top tech companies in the Southern Hemisphere, guiding design students to transition their careers into design and start their UX Design journey.
