Using the Active Track 5.0 with the Mavic 3 is very simple. The new firmware update added many features including Focus Track. Active Track is an autonomous flight function. As soon as you launch the drone and focus on a subject, the drone flies itself. It follows the subject wherever it goes, as long as it remains locked. In my tests so far, the drone is doing quite well. Most of my problems occur when the drone tries to track from the forward position. The side and rear tracking has worked quite well.
I will be testing a lot more with this drone. Stay tuned.
