This case study provides valuable insights into the development of smart cities in a European context, the use and implementation of SIS in urban environments, and what types of ethical issues are evaluated in the literature and how these contrast and diverge from those faced by professionals in the urban environment are confronted. excercise. It is hoped that this case study will provide practitioners, policy makers, smart city organizations and private ICT companies with some interesting observations on an ethical approach to SIS implementation in smart city projects.
