Hi,
A while ago I disassembled and analyzed the Ecovacs DEEBOT 900 for my DEFCON and Chaos Communication Camp 2019 lecture on privacy and IoT (https://dontvacuum.me/talks/CCCamp2019/CCCamp2019_Dennis-Giese-Privacy-leaks-in-smart devices .html).
A while ago I disassembled and analyzed the Ecovacs DEEBOT 900 for my DEFCON and Chaos Communication Camp 2019 lecture on privacy and IoT (https://dontvacuum.me/talks/CCCamp2019/CCCamp2019_Dennis-Giese-Privacy-leaks-in-smart devices .html).
Due to limited hardware (compared to Roborock/Xiaomi/Viomi) I didn't bother to research further on ways to root the device. While I was sorting through my recordings and photos, I found this video that I wanted to share with you. Please note that I have not added any further comments, so don't be disappointed.
