Edit protection on mobile devices is designed to prevent accidental edits to your notes. This feature is only available in the new Evernote for iOS.

To edit a note when edit protection is enabled, simply tap the blue Edit button or double-tap the note text.

Note: The Edit button is always present regardless of whether edit protection is enabled or not. If edit protection is not enabled, you can edit a note by tapping the Edit button or tapping the note text once.
