5 tips for getting started with envelope budgeting.
Tip 1: Start your envelope budgeting system as soon as you get paid.
tip 2 – after all your payments, divide your remaining money into categories. Usually 6-12 is enough for the envelope budgeting method.
Tip 3: take only the grocery money from week 1 with you the first week and save money in your bank account. You can save the rest until Friday.
Tip 4 – Be accountable to someone. Tell people what you are doing.
Tip 5: Adjust every salary payment for the first 6 months.
