For many years, Red Hat distributions managed network configuration via configuration files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts called ifcfg-* . However, in the last few years, these files have been deprecated and replaced by Network Manager and its associated command line tool: nmcli

Join us as we explore how nmcli and Network Manager can help you enter the world of network configuration management. It is incredibly powerful and offers far more configuration options than you are used to from network scripts!

And if that wasn't enough, let's briefly talk about interface bonding. Using the network system role, you configure a bonded interface using Ansible-Core, a component of RHEL.
