FRS URQC–100 is an enclosed robotic cell that automates highly sensitive ultrasonic quality measurements of automotive folding adhesive joints. This product revolutionizes today’s complex manual ultrasonic quality control, which is time-consuming and error-prone. In the past, it was difficult to robotically position an ultrasonic probe to measure a folding adhesive joint due to slight variations in the best position to get the optimal ultrasonic signal. FRS uses adaptive control based on both force sensor feedback and ultrasonic sensor feedback to guide the robot to the optimal position to take a measurement.
