A major disruption to Microsoft's cloud services has led to flight cancellations and delays around the world, impacting key infrastructure. The company said affected services may include, but are not limited to, services and software such as PowerBI, Fabric and Teams, as well as the Microsoft 365 admin center.
“We are aware of an issue affecting Windows devices due to an update to a third-party software platform. We expect a resolution to be forthcoming,” a Microsoft spokesperson told News18 without providing further details.
The outage, which has affected numerous airlines, led to the grounding of planes and disrupted flight operations at India's Delhi and Mumbai airports. Among the affected airlines were IndiGo, Akasa and SpiceJet.
