The Google Classroom mobile app has several /"hidden/" features that will make your life easier.

One of my favorite features is the /"random student selector/" which is ONLY available through the Google Classroom mobile app for Android or iOS.

To find the random student selector, go to the /"people/" tab in a class and look for the funky looking symbol at the very top, next to your course name.

The random student selector keeps track of which students you have called, who is absent and who has been skipped.

This feature works for in-person AND virtual classes!
