FutureDoc is an online platform that helps students on their first attempt at medical school.
From my experience as a member of interview panels, I have been helping students get over the final hurdle to medical school, namely their medical interviews, for over a decade. 1. We are incredibly thorough – the first thing we do with the students we bring into the program is sit down together and do a long **STRATEGY CALL**. This is where Dr. Hilton goes through the entire application with you and analyzes everything; your grades; which medical school choices are most tactical and likely to be successful for your situation; the key preparation steps we need to ensure success; ensuring we have the right work experience (and arranging it if we don't); reviewing your personal statement; ensure we score highly in the UCAT, BMAT and/or GAMSAT; how we are going to perform well during job interviews; EVERYTHING!
2. We are highly individual – once we have the plan in place for how we are going to get you into the medical school of your dreams, we will match you with a teacher with a similar background to you (Undergrad/Postgrad, International/Domestic etc.. .) that comes from the medical school of your first choice.
3. We are extremely committed to doing whatever it takes to help you get in. When you join us, we promise that we will do our utmost to help you achieve your goals.
The structure
The minimum education you will receive each month is four sessions per month. This amounts to approximately one session per week. These include:
– 1 ON 1 Sessions with your teacher.
– Q&A with Dr. Hilton: Ask me anything. This is your chance every month to contact me, tell me what problems you are having and have the opportunity to solve them together.
– Cycle-dependent education: here we provide the key education you need depending on the time of year (or stage of the application process) you are currently in.
– Core Knowledge Education: Essential information you MUST know no matter what stage of the application you are at.
