Introduction to Rametta Blockchain:-
RAMESTTA serves as a /"Low 2/" scaling
solution (or /"sidechain/") active
in addition to the polygon blockchain,
facilitating fast transactions and minimal
reimbursements.
RAMESTTA is a Layer 2 (L2) network for Polygon, using a proof-of-stake
(PoS) consensus mechanism, and therefore composed of the following two layers:
1.Heimdall layer, a consensus layer consisting of a set of proof-of-stake Heimdall
nodes for monitoring staking contracts deployed on the Polygon mainnet, and
establishing the RAMESTTA network checkpoints on the Polygon mainnet.
Heimdall is based on Tendermint.
2.Bor layer, an execution layer consisting of an array of block producing Bor
nodes shuffled by Heimdall nodes. Bor is based on Go Polygon (Geth).
RAMA acts as the network's native cryptocurrency and is used for fees,
stakeout and other purposes.
To create new RAMA and secure the network, RAMESTTA uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism – meaning you earn more from RAMA in one way
that you hold is done through staking and validation
