If you want to increase sales and make more money from your eBook, Kindle or Paperback book, why not just turn your book into an audiobook? The world has gone crazy for audiobooks and podcasts and you should take advantage of it!

In this short video I show you what you need to do to create an audiobook. If you would like to watch detailed training videos that show you exactly every step, click the link below this video to find out more….

Step 1 – Launch the Kindle version first. Sign up with KDP, click to join 'Kindle Unlimited' to get the maximum percentage of royalties and access marketing campaigns, download the 'done for you' templates to make your book look great instantly and get your book as a book on Amazon first a digital Kindle book. This way, it's easy to link your new audiobook version to the already published Kindle version, and the audiobook will be offered on the same Amazon page as your paperback and Kindle versions, giving your customers the choice of whether to purchase it. all three! My full training videos tell you exactly what to do, including optimizing your keywords and categories to maximize your Kindle sales.

Step 2 – THINK ABOUT AUDIO. So many authors don't do this and wonder why they don't get good feedback. Carefully browse your existing book and adjust the content so that it makes sense in the audio format only. Keep in mind that listeners won't see graphs, charts, or photos, and may also need more clues about who's saying what in fiction books if they can't see the layout, spacing, or speech marks! Think of your book as a “radio script” and you won't go wrong.

Step 3 – Find your narrator. And you know, maybe the ideal narrator lives at your address! Yes, why not consider narrating your OWN books; make things personal. You get the exact appearance and voice style you want, and you save on narrator costs! At VoiceoverMasterclass.com we have trained all kinds of people to be voiceovers and narrators, it's fun and can be very lucrative. But if you want to hire someone else to narrate and record your book, audition at least five to ten potential voices that fit the "sound" and age you are looking for. You can use ACX, FiverrPro, Voices.com or find narrators directly through their websites. Make sure their proposed fees include recording, editing, mastering and all rights.

Step 4 – If you are doing your own storytelling, find a local studio to rent, or ideally do it yourself at home. My videos show you in detail how to best set up a recording facility and edit and export using free software. It doesn't have to cost a fortune to set up a studio at home to record audiobooks – the key to professional results lies in the techniques used.

Step 5 – Verify that the exported files are correct in all technical areas such as levels, silences, file type and data rate, otherwise they will be rejected. Most audio software programs give you all the technical options you need, you just need to select the right parameters and export. Then upload to ACX with your optimal keywords, sales description and cover art. Choose the audio clip very carefully to intrigue potential buyers and fiction writers. Don't reveal plot spoilers in the preview! Now your audiobook is for sale worldwide!
