The firewall on your computer is designed to prevent unauthorized access to your computer or network by malware and hackers. However, sometimes your firewall blocks access to an app or connection you want to make. You can temporarily disable your firewall to allow access to an app or connection you want to make. Please note that disabling your firewall puts you at significant risk of unauthorized access to your computer or network and hacker attacks.
1-Click on the Windows Start menu or press Win. The Windows Start menu is the button with the Windows logo on it. By default it is located in the bottom left corner. Click this button to display the Windows Start menu.
2-Click the Settings icon. It's the icon that looks like a gear. This is located in the panel to the left of the Windows Start menu. This will open the Settings menu.
3-Click Update & Security. It has an icon that resembles two curved arrows forming a circle. It's in the Windows settings menu.
4-Click Windows Security. It's next to an icon that looks like a shield. It's in the panel on the left.
5-Click Open Windows Security. This is the button at the top of the Windows Security page.
6-Click Firewall & Network Security. It's next to an icon that looks like a radio tower. You can click on it in the panel on the left or on the large icon in the middle of the page.
7-Click on a network. You will generally find your Wi-Fi or Internet network under Public Network. In a private network, you can control access to your local network and other devices connected to your computer. Domain network is for a workspace network that consists of multiple computers on the same network.
8-Click the off.png toggle switch below /"Microsoft Defender Firewall./" This will disable your firewall. This can make your network more vulnerable to unauthorized access and attacks from outside.
