The first thing you need to know is that you cannot violate their terms and services or their policies. Doing so could get you kicked out of Yelp, and that's not a good thing.

So if you tell everyone, “Hey, write a fantastic review on Yelp,” you're probably going to get in trouble. It's just a question of when.

Instead, you could say to people, "Hey, check out Yelp./"

Just saying, go check Yelp, if that's what they want, they will do it.

If they don't, they won't.

Tip 2 Place a Yelp badge on your site.
So when people go to your website to view your menu or the services you provide, they can get more information.

Plus, they can then go back and then leave a rating and review on Yelp. So make sure you put that badge on your site.

Tip 3
Place the sticker or sign on your storefront.
You seem them when you enter countless restaurants. By doing that, people will know that you are on Yelp and if they like what you have to offer, they will give you a good review. If they don't, you'll probably get a really crappy review.

Tip4
The fourth tip I have for you is to include your Yelp listing in your email signature. Everyone uses email; I don't care if you're young or older. Email is still one of the huge backbones of the internet. This is how communication works.

The fifth tip I have for you is to share your fantastic reviews on the social web. You should be on Facebook, Twitter, maybe even LinkedIn or Instagram, whatever social network you're on, share your great Yelp reviews.

Not only will it bring you more sales, but more people will know you're on Yelp, and if they like what you have to offer, they'll be more likely to leave good reviews.

Last but not least, if you do well on Yelp, get a sticker that says /"people love us on Yelp/" and share that.

Put that on your storefront. It will help to generate more sales.

And as other people see it, they are much more likely to give an excellent review and rating on Yelp as well. Follow those things, those tactics, and you'll get even more great reviews on Yelp.
