In this Unity tutorial, we will guide you through setting up an Augmented Reality (AR) project using the latest Unity 2022. Called /"Intro to AR in Unity 2022/" we will enable and install pre-release packages AR Foundation 5.0. 0 example, which will require a restart of Unity Editor. Furthermore, we install the XRARCore plugin for ARCore. After switching the platform to Android in the build settings and adding open scenes, we configure the player settings by setting the company name to /"Joysticklab/" and the product name. By adjusting the display settings, we ensure compatibility by selecting Android 7.1 as the minimum API level. When managing XR plugins we choose Google ARCore.
