If you're new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I am the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It's a family office, which is just a formal way of saying that we invest our own money in companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in over $200,000,000+ per year. Our ownership interest varies between 20% and 100% of it. Since this is a YT channel and anyone can claim anything, I'll give you some things you can google below to verify.

How I got here…

21: Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt in 3 years and took a great consulting job.
23 years old: left my nice consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 years old: 5 gym locations opened.
26 years old: 6th gym closed. Lost everything.
26 years old: Started launching gyms again (launched 33). Then lost everything for the second time.
26 years old: In desperation, started using the Hail Mary licensing model. It worked.
27 years old: /"Gym Launch/" makes $3 million in profits over the next six months. Then $17 million in profit over the next twelve months.
28 years old: started Prestige Labs. $20 million the first year.
29 years old: Launched ALAN, an agency software company to generate leads for clients. Scaled to $1.7 mmo within 6 months.
31 years old: 75% of UseAlan sold to a strategic buyer in an all-stock deal.
31 years old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at a valuation of $46.2 million in an all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 years old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We are investing and scaling businesses using the $42 million in distributions we received + the $46.2 million exit funds.
32 years old: Started creating free content that shows how we grow businesses to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) attract business owners to invest or scale their business.
34 years old: I became co-owner of https://Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online.

Today: Our portfolio now represents $200 million annually across 10 companies. The largest does $100 million a year and the smallest does $5 million a year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early on and helped grow (that's how we make our money – not YouTube videos).

To all the gladiators in the arena: we are all writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.

You either get an epic result or an epic story. Both mean you win.
