In this video we teach you how to set up a Blink Outdoor Camera. The latest generation of Blink Outdoor Cameras are WiFi video cameras that can operate on battery power for up to 2 years. The Blink Outdoor camera also has the option to be wired if that is preferred over battery power. The Blink camera system uses a Wi-Fi Blink camera and a Wi-Fi base station that then converts the Blink video footage to a Wi-Fi signal so that the footage can be viewed in the cloud. The Blink Base Station works on WiFi and only requires a plug for power, it does not need to be connected to your modem or router. Multiple Blink cameras can be connected to one Blink Base Station. Unique to the Blink Cameras and Blink Base station is that the Blink Base station has a USB port that allows you to record footage locally for free on a USB stick if you don't want to pay for cloud storage or if you want a local backup of your video footage.

Set up Blink outdoor camera:
1. Download the Blink app and create an account.
2. First set up the Blink Base Station on the Blink app by scanning the QR code and following the instructions.
3. Once the base station is set up, you can start installing the Blink Outdoor Camera.
4. Use the included tools in the Blink Box and remove the back cover of the Blink Outdoor Camera. Scan the QR code in the Blink Camera to install your Blink Outdoor Camera.
5. Insert the batteries into your Blink Camera.
6. Replace the cover plate for your Blink Camera and secure it with the supplied tools.
