To make the referring Chime member (“Referrer”) eligible to receive the 100.00 Referral Reward and the temporary 10.00 SpotMe Bonus Limit increase, and to include the Referral (“Referred”) To be eligible and receive the 100.00 Referral Reward, all of the following conditions must be met: (1) The Referrer meets the SpotMe Eligibility Requirements and is part of the SpotMe Referral Incentive Referral Reward Campaign; (2) Referred has not previously opened a Chime Checking account (“Account”); (3) Referred opened a new account between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022; (4) Referrer opened the new account via the referrer's unique referral link; (5) Referred has received a qualifying direct deposit into the new account within 45 calendar days of account opening; and 6) Referred activated their physical Chime Visa Debit Card within 14 days of receiving a qualifying direct deposit. A qualifying direct deposit is an Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) deposit of $200.00 or more that comes from your employer, payroll, gig economy payer, or benefit payer OR a deposit through an Original Credit Transaction (OCT ) from your gig economy payer. Bank ACH transfers, Pay Everyone transfers, verification or trial deposits from financial institutions, peer-to-peer transfers from services such as PayPal, Cash App or Venmo, mobile check deposits, cash or deposits, one-time direct deposits, such as tax refunds and other similar transactions, and any deposit that Chime believes is not legitimate are not eligible direct deposits. Members are not automatically enrolled in SpotMe. Members must be eligible for SpotMe and manually enroll through the Chime app to receive the limited-time SpotMe Bonus Limit referral reward increase. Members may not earn more than 50.00 in SpotMe Bonus Limit referral increases and may not earn more than 1,000.00 in cash referral rewards per calendar year (January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023). A member's SpotMe limit cannot exceed 200. Any SpotMe Increases earned with this Referral Reward in the Member's Bonus Queue (“Bonus Queue”) that have not already been added to the Member's SpotMe Limit (due to the Promotional Limit) will be added to the Member's SpotMe Limit. limit on a rolling basis as previously added SpotMe increases to this referral reward expire. Once the temporary SpotMe bonus cap expires, members will no longer be able to earn SpotMe increases on this referral reward. However, SpotMe bonuses earned in the member's bonus queue will not be lost. Any referral reward for a SpotMe referral bonus cap will expire 184 calendar days after the referral receives a qualifying direct deposit. If an Eligible Referrer no longer qualifies for the Bonus Cap and the Referred meets the above conditions, the Referrer will receive the temporary SpotMe limit increase of 10 referrals only upon regaining eligibility for the Bonus Cap. Referral Rewards are generally issued within two (2) business days after all of the above conditions have been met. The referrer's account must be in good standing to receive the referral reward. Referred Persons acknowledge that payment of a Referral Reward may result in the Referrer being aware that the Referred Person has created a new account or signed up for a product. Chime reserves the right to cancel or change the terms of any Referral Rewards Offer or terminate a Member's participation at any time, with or without notice. Credits of 10 or more are reported on tax form 1099-INT for new members (referred). Credits of 600 or more are reported on tax form 1099-MISC for referring Chime members (referrers).
