Most of us bike tourists enjoy hearing about the routes that others have taken. Everyone has a great surprise here or there, or maybe a warning about a certain section. It makes us all better bike tourists. So in this video I have recreated our route so that those of you who can’t get enough of routes and maps can follow along.
Probably the question we get asked most on YouTube is: "Can you post a GPX of your route?" We didn't, because during the ride I was sometimes using Komoot, sometimes using Google Maps, and I didn't always save the routes (I know, I know. I'm getting better at this) and Julianna's Garmin was having issues the entire trip. So our data sucks.
However, I have recreated the route on Komoot, as far as I can remember (which is pretty good when it comes to navigation), and the link is below, along with some of the trails and routes we have merged. I hope you find this video useful, and maybe even a little entertaining!
