There are many pros to it: you can embed routes in your website, easy to export, easy to create and many more advantages.

But one little quirk of the route making system, at least here in the Philippines, is that it makes a lot of /"interesting" route choices – sometimes only passable on foot, or they are semi-private roads that I have to sneak around and go through.

Nevertheless, when I let Komoot create the route, it's always an adventure and I always come across g-roads that I keep going back to.
