Why do so many people watch other people play video games? Shouldn't they just play the games themselves? Wouldn't that be more fun?

You may know the answers to some of these questions, but I wanted to dig deeper into this. So I spent $250 on a Tobii Eye Tracker and used it to explain why we see other people playing video games.
