Creative writing student Denisse shares her experiences with Southern New Hampshire University's Online Accessibility Center (OAC).

► ► All SNHU students with documented disabilities can request support services! https://www.snhu.edu/about-us/accessibility/online?utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=socialmedia&utm_campaign=YTchannel_Bitly&utm_content=OnlineAccessibility_TAM_TAM_49&snhu_segment=ol

/"The OAC has transformed my educational journey.

As a student with unique accessibility needs, I was initially unsure how I would navigate my online courses. But from the moment I contacted the OAC, I realized that their team is an absolute gamechanger!

The OAC staff is super friendly, supportive and truly committed to ensuring that every student has equal access to education.

They worked closely with me to understand and meet my needs. They gave me the tools and resources I needed to succeed, such as adding subtitles to videos, helping with assistive technology, allowing extra time for assignments, and offering alternative formats for material. They were prompt and genuinely invested in my success. It has made a big difference in my learning experience!

But what really sets the OAC apart is that they created a safe space where I felt comfortable expressing my needs and concerns. They listened carefully and worked together to find innovative solutions.

I am forever grateful to the OAC for their support and dedication. Now more than ever, I feel like an integral part of the SNHU community.

They are there to ensure you have everything you need to thrive and make your educational journey inclusive and memorable. Trust me, they are amazing!

Remember: education is for everyone! With the OAC on your team, you have the resources and support to overcome challenges and achieve great things. SNHU is here to help you succeed./"

Thanks, Dennis!
