Nearly 20% of the U.S. population will have a disability during their lifetime. Developers can grow their user base and create a better experience for everyone by making their app accessible. APPlicable, a program of Campus Tel Aviv, helps startups make their apps accessible to people with disabilities by inviting startups to witness how blind and motor-impaired users use their apps. In this session we present lessons learned and provide guidance for creating inclusive design. We will also present automated testing tools that provide suggestions to improve accessibility.
