An online course from the University at Buffalo (https://www.coursera.org/learn/collaborative-robot-safety/?utm_medium=institutions&utm_source=suny&utm_campaign=UBcobotYT ) – available on the Coursera platform – prepares students to objectively examine collaborative robot (cobot) work cells and proactively eliminate hazards. The Collaborative Robot Safety: Design & Deployment course uses standards from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Robotic Industries Association (RIA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

The course was developed by UB's Center for Industrial Effectiveness (TCIE), in collaboration with industry partners including Precise Automation.
