Given the complexity at the municipal level, energy system interdependencies among different alternatives need to be considered to systematically develop sustainable future systems. The techno-economic optimization framework IRPopt (Integrated Resource Planning and Optimization) enables such an integrated assessment from the perspective of different actors.
Modeling innovative business models such as community energy storage systems is achieved through a new framework logic. In addition, a proven graph-based energy system approach enables accurate modeling of deployment systems by taking into account different energy carriers and technical processes. Furthermore, a graph-based commercial association approach enables the integration of actor-centric coordination.
