By request, here is the story of my mechanical engineering education and career path where I have worked on renewable energy technologies for fifteen years so far. I chose this career because of my concerns about climate change. Being an engineer is great because it gives you the power to work on something that will change the world to be more like you want it to be!

I recorded this interview almost a year ago when I was still working for a wind turbine blade manufacturer. In the video I start with the hobbies I had as a child, my early STEM education that started with math with my father, my first part-time job in a bicycle shop, my love for physics and how I chose between studying physics and engineering at the university. Then the jobs I've had in solar, startups, other renewable energy, sustainability and circular economy projects I worked on before deciding to go back to university to get a PhD in structural design and analysis of composite materials , so I could get a job for a wind turbine blade manufacturer.
