“Robot ethics is about people.”

Kate Darling is a research specialist at the MIT Media Lab and a fellow at the Harvard Berkman Center and the Yale Information Society Project. Robots will likely become an increasingly large part of our lives. To understand what it means for humans and how we will interact with our new friends, Kate will talk about her research into humans' instinctive and emotional perception of robots.

A change from robots being present behind the scenes in production areas etc. to being present in all areas of our lives is becoming a reality, whether you like it or not. Emotional affection for human robots is the new evolving thing. Kate takes us on the journey of anthropomorphism and what the future holds.
