We had to cut the trip short…the water conditions were too brutal to do the entire distance. The Ouachita Mountains are home to incredible rivers and streams. The area is undeveloped, leaving rivers like this in their primeval form. We paddled and camped for 3 days! But somehow we only did 8 miles in 3 days, brutal.
